HISTORY, HERSTORY, MYSTERY

“History” comes from Gc “histor” meaning “wise” and developed into “his story” – Usually the King’s story…if you wanted to keep your head.  I think we need note the inconsistency of wisdom and the stories by and about just powerful men; pure animus men.  This yet further example of male dominated, therefore, macho male inflated self image has much company in the language of English.

Where is the “herstory”: more feminine side, more nurturing, more compassion, more peaceful and intuitive aspects of humanity’s saga?...

In rare appearance in comparison…and at our great loss.

Hey, most importantly I figure “mystery” means “my story” (our story; and blimey it’s a mystery alright. But, of course, most are all too certain we know already just how things are and are supposed to be even when so much of what we may do does not bring us joy. And some do say joy is the greatest benchmark of spirituality.

Spirit never stops amazing us, confounding us, bumping up against us, then reveals itself to us only to fool us again and thrusts us into the wonder – the bliss of bewilderment, the confusion of opportunity or maybe that should bee the the opportunity of confusion. How much resistance we put up that’s what wears us out – and for how awfully long, kicking and screaming do we finally surrender to spirit, give up our illusions* and come to our satisfaction… exhausted.  To be out of the mystery and into the knowing now, that’s the trick of it.

And then again Lord have mercy; see me through this; save my arse and all that’s up or down of it, and yet again next I notice, I’m praising spirit and finding joy and gratitude for the glorious feeling of peeing outdoors on a bush that’s tickled to make my acquaintance.

*Ill-lusion – means perceiving the light in an ill manner; a-mazing means to be without or out of the maze; further must mean more fur: further – think about that; how did that start?. THINKING ONE KNOWS AND RULES ARE CALLED DOGMA, AND DOGMA SPELLED BACKWARD IS ‘AM GOD’; YUP, DOGMA IS GETTING God backward! And that’s where the trouble starts, by golly. Arse is the original term for the buttocks, an ass is a donkey.
